Nov 14, 2006: Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently looking for female sculpture artists from Singapore. Are there any names you can recommend me or tell me artists that have a website with their work? It would be great if I could find a Singaporean artist that has produced sculptures with human and or animal forms – not too abstract. more

Sep 8, 2006: 《 Overview of Uijae Art Studio 》 ○ Philosophy and direction Uijae Art Studio was established in the tradition of the cultural identity of Gwangju, the city of art, and the perspectives and art philosophy of Uijae Baekryeon Heo, one of greatest artists in Korea. Artists participating in the in-residence program will experiment with extensive contemporary art genres, based on the spirit of Muninhwa (painting in literary artists' style) and explore new styles of art where tradition and modernity are in harmony. In addition, the art studio is aimed at carrying out diverse public projects in tandem with civic groups, following the example of Uijae Baekryeon Heo who led farmers' movement, and at strengthening research into living culture. more
