About the artist / Artist's Statement

My works draw inspirations from everyday life encounters, where even minor domestic acts and humble materials/objects can intrigue me with ideas to explore. I have been working with notions such as “cleansing”, “sacrifice” and “renewal” based on Christian faith, and recent explorations on how these ideas may be relevant in the Chinese culture.
