About the artist / Artist's Statement
An avid traveller, Singaporean artist Linda Gouw brings to her work the nostalgia and vulnerability to loneliness of the long distance traveller - haunted by the joys and sadness of inevitable departure. It is not surprising, therefore, that there is an increasing interest from world art lovers in the fresh and lively vision of her work, so particularly her own, and inspired by such diverse backgrounds as Africa, Bali, New Zealand, France and Great Britain.
Her works have found their way into the hands of private and corporate collectors in London, Paris, Jakarta and Singapore. More of Linda's work can be seen on her website at: www.gouwcollection.com.
